Review: E.L.F Eyelid Primer

Hi Chingus!
How's your week doing?
I've been caught up with many things at work but at least I can breakthrough all of that when I'm this space :D Although work is fully loaded, my interest on cosmetics and make-up application is still all time high.Though its not really required to look super good in my profession, I still believe that if I look pleasant it adds up on looking more professional.
They say that one way to attract attention is to have beautiful eyes. Having an eye make-up definitely brightens up the face. To keep my eyeshadow intact, I rely on eye primer. I may have a dry skin on my face but my eyelids are extremely oily.

I've been using this e.l.f. eyelid primer for quite sometime now. Other bloggers often compares this to expensive eye primer. Here in the Philippines there is only one shade available for e.l.f. eyelid primer which is Sheer.

If you also noticed, their package is simple and instruction on how to use the product is pretty much straightforward.

Using this doe foot wand, I find it easy to blend the primer all over my eyelids.

The actual primer is shimmery so you would need to blend it out evenly on your eyelid.
Please excuse the bushy eyebrows hehe! This picture was taken at my workplace so the lighting was quite good. I was using Avon's True Color Eyeshadow (Earth Tone) on this picture.
Here's another shot where I used frosted brown colored eyeshadow.
Please no harsh comments on the eyebrows hehe!....And this was taken when I got home from work. You can noticed that the color of the eyeshadow had faded already and it is starting to crease. And to sum it all up.....

What I like about it...
  • Easy to blend and dries up quickly
  • Travel size packaging
  • Brighten up eyeshadow
  • Can somehow withstand my oily eyelids

What I don't like about it...
  • Limited availability on your local department store
  • Staying power is above average
  • Makes my eye make-up crease by the end of the day

Will I try it again...?
Yes. You can never judge a product by its price. You can't expect much on affordable cosmetics but e.l.f.'s eyelid primer was able to deliver good results. I have already considered this as a good find product.

Cosmetics Acquisitions

Hi Chingus!
I hope you are all doing well. It's weekend and it feels freakin' good LOL. I have been constantly adding a number of cosmetics on my make-up collection. When I look at my stash, I feel very rewarded. Below are my recent impulsive purchases XD
These MeMeMe and Beauty UK babies was purchased at MakeupHOLICS stall at Cinderella Store, SM Megamall. I still have some fears on buying products online. I usually doubt if the shade will suit me. It's a good thing that MakeupHOLICS has a physical store. At least I'd be able to test their product before buying it. I was also shock that I was able to buy 5 lippies in one purchase.
Aside from lippies my next obsession would be eyeliners. Though I still can't do a perfect wing liner, I believe that I'd be able to perfect it with more practice. This time I'd be trying Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner and 4U2 Dip Liner.
Here's another product from Etude House that has been long out of stock. Their Proof 10 Eye Primer as of the moment this is the best eye primer that I was able to use.
My friend Rin-chan has been using this IN2IT brow powder for more than a year. She said that this product is really worth it but like Etude House' eye primer this has been long out of stock. I believe its time for me to learn to groom my eyebrows. Am I being too vain now or what? (⌒.−)=★

Sundate + FOTD

Hi Chingus!
Me and hubby had our regular date last weekend. We usually enjoy simple walks and window shopping. But since we just had our payday before the week ended, we decided to enjoy and relax ourselves. I made an effort to look special on that day haha! I didn't want to look stress during our date.
I'm not good at smiling so I think I look sleepy on this picture haha! I'm still practicing on wing eyeliner application to make my eyes look livelier.
Of course hubby has his own vain shot with the crazy background.
Chatime
Our first stop was at Chatime at Ali Mall. We were tired at walking so we decided to to take a sip and sit down for awhile.
We actually shared on this drink because Hubby said he won't be able to finish I drink on his own. He loves milk tea so he ordered Lychee Milk Tea with coconut jelly. After finishing this drink we looked for a place to eat our lunch.
Hap Chan
We found Hap Chan at Ali Mall as well and this would be the first time that we would be eating at this place. We ordered Lechong Paksiw with Cu Pao, Squid with Salt and Pepper and 3 cups of rice.

In addition, I love the tea that they serve while waiting for the food that we ordered. It was very soothing. After our sumptuous lunch, we decided to watch a movie at Gateway Mall
I was planning to have an OOTD here but hubby wanted me to be with Iron Man..that crazy guy XD. We watched Jack The Giant Slayer because I wanted to see "R" so much. The movie is quite good and to be honest I like how they put maturity on fairytale.  Am I weird 「(°ヘ°)? Anyways it was a tiring day but I have enjoyed it so much.
Have a lovely week ahead of you guys!

NW: Rooftop Prince

Hi chingus!
I have been busy these past days and so far I'm still stuck with stress and pressure at work. Nonetheless, I'd promise to keep up on updating my blog. If you noticed, I have a new blog template made by Kenny Manalad of Sytle Diaries. I can't thank him enough for helping me improve the look of my blog O(≧∇≦)O
BTW, I'm also back on watching koreanovela. I've been always amazed on South Korean culture, language and people. It has been my dream to learn their language and even visit their country one day. It took me sometime to decide on what series should I watch and finally, I found Rooftop Prince.

The genre for this series is comedy, romance, fantasy and historical. I'm a sucker of this kind of series like My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. I went gaga over that series to the point that I have changed my mobile phone's message alert tone to its OST.
Park Yoochun

I was also surprised that Park Yoochun was its leading man. never imagined that he'd be an actor because I am just use on seeing him sing and dance LOL! Anyways I'm almost halfway on the episodes of this series and hopefully it would have a good and satisfying ending. Well then, see you all on my next post. God Bless everyone!
