Saturdate

Hi Chingus!
Yesterday was a fun day with Hubby. Aside from the usual household chores that we normally do together. We went out on a date late in the afternoon because we didn't want the sun to burn us. When we go out on a date we don't go to fancy restaurant...were just like any other normal couple.
Mang Inasal
Our first stop is at Mang Inasal located at Shopwise Araneta. We were dead hungry so might as well go for unlimited riiiicceee yeah!

I'm not sure if its only me but I was getting too much attention when I was taking pictures o_O
Timezone
After eating, we went to Gateway Mall, Araneta. Our first stop was at Timezone, Hubby was looking for a game to play until he found this Street Fighter game. A player left one credit and Hubby decided to continue the game but unfortunately he only won one game.
Photo Exhibit
We also found a photo exhibit at the Gateway Cineplex. It's really amazing how photos say a thousand words. I envy some of the piece that I saw because I think their perfect and the skill of the photographer is really admirable. I hope that soon I'd be able to create something like this.

And of course, one of the reason why we went on a date is because Hubby wanted to see Sarah G. and John Lloyd's movie "It Take a Man and a Woman" haha! Don't criticize him..he is a super fan and I admit, the movie was nice *giggle*
It Take a Man and a Woman
We took the last full show because the other cinema is jam-pack. We need to kill time...because our waiting time was two freakin' hours. And even if were inside the mall it seems that their air conditioning is too low because it was still hot.
Brownie Temptation Blizzard
Hubby bought a 16 oz. of Brownie Temptation Blizzard at Dairy Queen to quench the heat.
FOTD, selca
Yah! My precious selca moments with my favorite pose. As you noticed I'm still struggling on my eyeliner skills. I think I went overboard on this one haha! but Hubby said its not that noticeable.  Well that should be it for now..God Bless everyone!

Tim the Cat and etc!

Hi Chingus!
I've been offline for a long time again. I wasn't planning to go on vacation but I had to accompany my mother to the doctor...but don't worry she's ok now. I went to the province and boy it was scorching hot...I realized that it was really summer. I initially planned to do a photowalk using my digicam. I'd like to enhance my photography skills LOL! But since it was really hot I ended up staying at home and eat..sleep.
I just decided to play with Tim, my mother's pet cat. He's a stray cat that has been adopted a year ago. He's a very curious cat indeed and when he's curious he ends up tasting anything. I saw him licking rice grains, chopped garlic and hot pot and he even eats vegetable haha! I find him sooo adorable.

I also found a gold fish at my room. He's the pet of my younger sister. Crazy fish..he keeps on swimming around so I can't find his perfect angle for the picture.

And this is an old bear display at the living room.

Of course I won't be leaving the province without eating my favorite Yema Cake. I really miss its sweetness and creaminess. Whether you believe it our not I try my best not to each too much because I might end up having a toothache.

And lastly after several days of contemplating, I decided to change the url of my blog. I had to say goodbye to http://niichan21.blogspot.com and replaced it with http://space-randomness.blogspot.com. I feel more satisfied with my blog identity now. I may not be a famous blogger but in this space I feel free and happy to share my thoughts.

Sundate + FOTD

Hi Chingus!
Me and hubby had our regular date last weekend. We usually enjoy simple walks and window shopping. But since we just had our payday before the week ended, we decided to enjoy and relax ourselves. I made an effort to look special on that day haha! I didn't want to look stress during our date.
I'm not good at smiling so I think I look sleepy on this picture haha! I'm still practicing on wing eyeliner application to make my eyes look livelier.
Of course hubby has his own vain shot with the crazy background.
Chatime
Our first stop was at Chatime at Ali Mall. We were tired at walking so we decided to to take a sip and sit down for awhile.
We actually shared on this drink because Hubby said he won't be able to finish I drink on his own. He loves milk tea so he ordered Lychee Milk Tea with coconut jelly. After finishing this drink we looked for a place to eat our lunch.
Hap Chan
We found Hap Chan at Ali Mall as well and this would be the first time that we would be eating at this place. We ordered Lechong Paksiw with Cu Pao, Squid with Salt and Pepper and 3 cups of rice.

In addition, I love the tea that they serve while waiting for the food that we ordered. It was very soothing. After our sumptuous lunch, we decided to watch a movie at Gateway Mall.
I was planning to have an OOTD here but hubby wanted me to be with Iron Man..that crazy guy XD. We watched Jack The Giant Slayer because I wanted to see "R" so much. The movie is quite good and to be honest I like how they put maturity on fairytale.  Am I weird 「(°ヘ°)? Anyways it was a tiring day but I have enjoyed it so much.
Have a lovely week ahead of you guys!

February Highlights

~Ola chingus! How's everybody doin?
The month of February is one of the special months of the year that I love since its Hubby's birthday month. In addition, there are other occasions like Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day included on this month too. As you can see most of the highlight for this month is food!  (●ゝω)ノヽ(∀<●)
The first picture would be a man made cherry blossom tree and paper lantern that we saw at Gateway Mall during the Chinese New Year. When I saw this display, it made me realized how I badly wish to travel to other country specially at Japan and Korea. Next photos are all about food, the reason why I can't loose weight. My diet program was not to eat after 6 p.m. but I sure do eat a lot during the morning. Last picture would be a flower design from a table mat. It was a simple art that made me smile. I hope I would be like this flower blooming through out the year.

Puerto Princesa Adventure Day 1: Baker's Hill

~Ola

After a relaxing view, we went to Baker's Hill which is near Mitra's ranch (well it is near but you still need a ride to go there hehe!). It is not an ordinary bakeshop. Aside from selling delicious baked goodies such as cookies, mini cakes, brownies, chocolate crinkles, hopia and etc. they have renovated their place to a small theme park. You would find various fiberglass figure of Disney and Hollywood character.

I think..I'm a bit jealous here :D We bought a box of chocolate crinkles, mini chocolate cakes and hopia. Unfortunately, we were not able to to take photos of it. Don't blame us, we were just hungry. Aside for the mini-theme park, bakery, and two restaurant (which we didn't explore) they also had a green park.

From the baked products that Baker's Hill offer, the theme and green park makes you feel like a child again. When I was there I thought of the time when all I cared about was to play the whole day. No wonder why this place is considered as one of the tourist destination at Palawan.

Puerto Princesa Adventure Day 1:Lunch Time

~Ola

Our first stop on our city tour at Palawan is at Badjao Seafront Restaurant. Manong driver said that this is one of the most visited restaurant at Palawan. He also added that the price of the food is reasonable and we'll enjoy the nature's view. Now I figured that Palaweneos liked Tiki decorations.
Before you reach the restaurant, you'll have to go to a man-made bridge surrounded by mangroves.
I've never been this close to nature...and it felt very relaxing.

Good thing we didn't arrive at a peak hour. I love the ambiance and we were really getting hungry. We ordered their best seller which is the seafood platter and added 2 mango juice on our meal. While waiting for our food...it's picture taking time

The restaurant had an amazing view. It took a long time for them to serve our lunch but its totally worth it.  Everything was freshly cooked..of course except for the juicy seaweed.
Our plate was devastated lol! We took our time in eating..I think we spent more than an hour enjoying our food. This is one of the most satisfying meals that we ever had
