Come back post and July Collectives

Hi Chingus!
It's been a long time seen I tried to write on this blog.
I know...I kept on promising that I will write regularly but my normal life had become so demanding and busy. In any case, I'll just make sure to write whenever I find time.
To start off...this month is my birthday month! Woohoo!! Sorry if you are expecting a giveaway but I think I'll do that soon (⌒.−)=★ For the mean time, I'll be sharing my haul for the month of July.

This cotton puff is actually buy 1 take 1 from Daiso Japan for only 88 pesos. I use this regularly for removing my make up. I find it easier to remove make up using cotton puff instead of cotton ball. Well I don't know anybody who uses cotton ball for make up removal (-‸ლ)

Another purchase that I made from Daiso Japan is this brown eyebrow pencil. I was actually looking for a refill for my Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil but it is always out of stock.

I usually use this to line my eyebrows before I fill it in with brow powder. I must say its a good find and most probably I'll be repurchasing this.

Majolica Mojorca put up a promo on their famous Lash King mascara for only 499 pesos. Though I have been using another mascara for quite sometime now I decided to but it only to find out that they will be releasing an "improved" version of Lash King ლ(ٱ٥ٱლ)

I remembered from my old posts that I love Carmex the most as my lip balm but I had a change of heart. I think this Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm is around 99 pesos and it does a pretty decent job on moisturizing my lips.

The only reason that I purchased this Maybelline Color Ink in Be-1 is because I am curious on how to use cream eyeshadow. This is worth 350-370 pesos I believe and I've read on some blogs that this can be used as an eyeshadow base.

It's like a mettalic beige color.
Sorry if the swatch is not that clear.

And lastly, my favorite Bifesta Makeup Remover. This bad ass makeup remover is worth 419 pesos. I also remembered my self raving Etude House makeup remover before but when I found this water based cleansing lotion, suddenly using oil based makeup remover was just such a pain.

Well, there you go! See you again on my next post..Byeeee~ (*^▽^)/

PR: Human Nature Tinted Lip Balm

~Ola(≧∇≦)/

Happy crazy rainy afternoon to all! I feel really sleepy (´~`). It's a good thing that I can still sit in front of my laptop to write (⌒□⌒). I want to share another Human Nature product which is the tinted lip balm that is 100% natural.

Available in 3 shades:
  • Pink Orchid (pink)
  • Island Kiss (coral)
  • Flame Tree (red)
What I have is the Island Kiss shade. This 4 gram lip balm cost 90 available on all Beauty Bar and Human Nature store outlet.

Human Nature Tinted Lip Balm, tinted lip balm

It contains Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, beeswax, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut oil derived), Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Mentha piperita (peppermint) essential oil, Calendula officinalis (calendula) extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract, tocopherol, (+/-): zinc oxide (CI 77497), iron oxide (CI 77491), manganese violet (CI 77742), mica (CI 77019), titanium dioxide (CI 77891)...wait these last ingredients are kinda scientific now σ(∧_∧;)

I like the peppermint scent  whenever I use this balm and it actually moisturizes my lips. FYI, some lip balms makes my lips chappy....weird eh?! \(〇_o)/ I've also noticed that instead of a coral shade on my lips it's kinda brownish.....reddish..is that coral? Haha!( _ _ )..........o

You may refer to the picture below of my bare lips.

Bare lips, lips

And the swatch of the tinted lip balm

swatch human nature tinted lip balm, Island Kiss

Since this is only a tinted lip balm I really did not expect long wear effect. The only thing that I've noticed is my lips feels a "bit" dry after quite sometime. But still, this is a must buy product as it is organic and no synthetic colorant was used. It also has cocoa butter, beeswax and all-natural plant oils that helps lips to be moisturized. And to sum it all up~

What I like about it..
  • Natural ingredients
  • Reasonable price
  • Peppermint smell
  • Loved its brownish to reddish tint
What I don't like about it..
  • "My" lips felt dried somehow

I'm still not done with my quest of finding the perfect lip balm o(´∇`*o)
I have been hearing good feedback on Carmex' products but I had some trouble finding where to buy it. I have been literally checking all Watsons store that I've been to but I had no luck. Good thing we decided to search the cosmetics section of Robinsons Galleria Department Store.

I found 3 options at their stall: Original Carmex Jar, Carmex Cherry Tube and Carmex Cherry Stick. All of these option cost 109.75.

PR: Snoe Beso Lip Balm

~Ola(≧∇≦)/

Previously, I had a very bad issue of having chappy lips and I was desperately looking for a lip balm that would suite me and I actually found one if you check my previous entry ~ Lip Care.
But I wasn't really satisfied. It cured my chappy lips but I want something that can soothe and moisturize my lip more..coz I was getting envy with women that wears lipstick beautifully 。゜(T^T)゜。
I decided to try Snoe's Beso lip balm for a change..price is at 149. The packaging is not that attractive but the writing on it looks very promising.. Plumps Soothes Protects Freshens Breath ~ sounds perfect.

Snoe Beso Balm

It contains coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, beeswax, spearmint leaf oil, shea butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Menthol, Benzophenone 3, Blue 1 (CI42090), Yellow 5 (CI19140).

Instructions: Use before kissing or whenever you feel like it!

WARNING: PROLONGED USE MAY ATTRACT THE OPPOSITE GENDER AND CAUSE INTENSE FLIRTING

I must say that the product is very effective and it soothes the lips in an instant after applying it so the price justifies its effectiveness. It also made my lips more plumper than ever. This is my first time to try a mentholated lip balm and I think I would not be a fan of it. I'm still not used to the minty and tingly feeling on my lips and how strong it smells when using it.

What I like about it..
  • Easy to carry around
  • Packaging is perfect as the cap does not comes off easily thus, it would not mess up your make-up kit
  • Non-greasy
  • Instant soothing effect
  • Instant lip plumper effect

What I don't like about it..
  • It's mentholated
  • Tingly sensation during application

\(^▽^*) Lip Care (*^▽^)/

It has been deadly hot these past weeks and I can tell that its already summer. When you stay indoors even with doors and window open you'd still feel that your inside a sauna. Once you go out you'd melt instantly like a vampire errr ice cream (゜-゜)(゜-゜)(゜-゜)

My problem through out the year is having chappy lips. Maybe I lack Vitamin E or I don't drink often but its such a pain. I've tried to put on some remedy on my lips so I decided to use a lip balm. I tried many brands of lip balm but none of them seems to suit me.............................
。・゜゜⌒(TOT)⌒゜゜・。 ( ^; 滝のようだ・・・

Some of those brand was greasy and does not really moisturize. Other lip balm was tinted or scented but leaves the lip dry. So in general they didn't help me at all because no matter how expensive, cheap or “famous” the product was it just leaves me with a problematic lips                   ヽ(´ー`)┌

My friend loves to follow some beauty blogs and I remembered while checking out some blogger that she is following one of them feature a not so common brand of lip balm. Not so common because I don't usually see it on the beauty corner. The product's name is "Blistex". It had a good review so I decided to look for it (゚ー゚)(。_。)ウンウン

It's hard to find (?), coz I tried to check Watson's at Megamall, Robinson's Galleria, SM Cubao and Gateway but still no luck on finding this lip balm. Luckily when we went on shopping at Robinson's Galleria Supermarket it was finally THERE! hidden at the back of other lip balms     ☆彡(ノ^^)ノ☆彡ヘ(^^ヘ)☆彡(ノ^^)ノ☆ Among the various type of lip balm that Blistex offer they only have the Berry Lip Balm.
What I like about it?

  • Fairly cheap and costs around 63 pesos only
  • It has a cherry scent and  has a “minty feeling” after applying on the lips
  • Its PERFECT on ME ( ̄ー)
  • It has SPF 15 that protects the lip from sunburn and drying. For more information just check their website http://www.blistex.com

What I don't like about it?

I've noticed with all the Blistex Berry Balm that I have purchased that it has a pink tape on every each side of the product.

When I first bought it I thought it was a quality assurance error but after buying my second one it has the same “syndrome”. I never attempted to peel that pink tape off because err I don't know, just don't like doing it \(--)/

Now that I have my 4th lip balm, I decided to peel it off so that I can now be at peace. I have discovered that the pink tape on every side of the product was actually trying (?) to hide its actual name which is “MEDICATED BERRY BALM”. I really don't know why do they have to hide it..maybe its not “eye catchy” for consumers but they have to change it. It's like false advertisement you know..ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ
(Sorry if the picture is not clear XD)
In any case I'd still recommend this product as this is quite effective for people with major problem on having chappy lips. This is ideal for this summer season as it helps seals in lips moisture.
