Review: Beauty UK ~ In The Buff

Hi Chingus! 

I'm still such a busy bee but I am making sure that I won't be leaving this space empty for a long time. Just like regular bloggers I have tons of pending post that I can't seem to update all at once. As mentioned before, I think lipsticks are getting onto my head so much. My recent obsession are Beauty UK's lippies. Immediately after playing around with their Hollywood Glam set, I decided to use one of the cream to matte finish lipstick 'In the Buff'. Same as before this was purchased at MakeupHOLICS and if I'm not mistaken this was around 450 pesos.

I fell in love with its rosy pink shade. I was also surprised by its minty scent, it's like putting candy on my lips. It's cream property makes it easy to glide on the lips and since its kinda matte it makes the shade last long on the lips. 

Sorry for the messy swatch, I got over excited on using the lipstick  LOL!

And the actual swatch on my lips. Since I am super busy I've only managed to do this decent picture after work today. I'd like to purchase other shades but I still have a handful of lippies that I need to use.

What I like about it...  

♡ Sleek packaging 

♡ Affordable 

♡ Good pigmentation and color is very opaque

♡ Moisturized feeling upon application 

♡ The shade does not fade easily

♡ Minty smell 

What I don't like about it...       

Since it has the property of a cream lipstick, I need to set it for about 2-3 minutes before a start talking or moving my lips so much. The color of the lipstick tends to go to my teeth. 

Will I try it again...?       

Yes, just give some time to consume my other lippies.

I bought 02 and 05 shades coz I'd like to try a nude and bright colored lipstick.

As you can notice 02 shade is very pale

05 is actually cherry colored

I have been using this lipstick for about a week now. This baby is under satin or sheer lipstick. The color appear darker inside the tube than the actual application on the lips. It wears off easily so I need to re-apply it often,though it leaves a hint of its color on the lips.

What I like about it...

• Classy packaging
• Non-greasy
• My lips feels moisturized
• Color suites my lips

What I don't like about it... 

• As usual its product content/description is in Korean
• Only one store that I know of that offers it
• Wears off easily
• Often re-application is needed

Another Shopping Day at Robinsons Galleria

I've been featuring stuff that I usually buy so I decided to name every entry with that concept with Another Shopping Day (ASD)!

I've been craving to buy new cosmetics but I wanted to try something new. I remembered that I saw a Korean cosmetics at Robinsons Galleria's department store and also I wanted to add something on my reading materials. 

So I've decided to buy the following......... 

Ok! Magazine May 2012 issue @ 150 pesos

CheekRoom Lipstick @ 299 pesos and Pressed Blusher @ 259 pesos

It has been a busy week and I admit that I have a hard time finding time to write. Whenever I go home, I'd like to sleep early （┬┬＿┬┬）。ｏ 〇 ○ 

Anyways, enough of my sleepiness（ ´^ー^｀)ﾆﾔｧﾘ I'd like to share one of the things that makes me smile. Since I started learning how to put make-up on my face, I can't help to be amazed to the many colors of lipstick that every cosmetics has (●ﾟдﾟ●)

Imagine one brand of cosmetics has more than 20 different colors of  (●⌒∇⌒●)  and if only I can have one room full of those o((*^▽^*))o Just to let you know lipstick is one of the first “face paint” that I bought.

Let me share to you my small collection. You would actually notice which one is the oldest and which one is new...sorry for the mess ☆:*･ﾟ(●´∀｀●)ﾎェ:*･ﾟ☆

Starting from the back left-hand side – NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors [Watermelon], IN2IT Lasting Color Lipstick [Smoked Peach], Fanny Serrano Moisturific [Peri Sherry] and AVON's Ultra Moisture Lipstick [Apricot Nectar Rose]

Amazing! ...order of color are same as the photo above *:゜☆ヽ(*’∀’*)/☆゜:。*。
